President Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RCCI), Kashif Shabbir said on Wednesday that women development cell would be set up in the Chamber to facilitate the business women. He made these remarks while addressing the first meeting of RCCI's Standing Committee on Women Entrepreneurs here. Kashif Shabbir said that basic objective behind establishing the Standing Committee is to address the problems being faced by the business women.

He said that women could play an optimistic role in prevailing economic crunch of the country. The RCCI President demanded of the government that women should be provided equal opportunities of business. "Women should come forward and take part in the foreign trade expos and fairs, in this way they can get the maximum results", he added.

Speaking on the occasion, Chairperson of the Committee Amina Salim said that Rawalpindi Chamber is the only platform where women entrepreneurs can communicate their problems and Chamber will assist them accordingly. She said women should work hard to illustrate their abilities.
